In March of 2013, Project Orphans partnered with a local organization in Uganda, just an hour out of the city of Kampala. In July 2013, we broke ground - building our first home in Uganda. To date - the kids are no longer kids; but teenagers with dreams to go back into their village and make a difference. It's a humbling experience being able to be part of these kids story and see them grow into men and women that are equipped to change the world.

In May of 2016, we realized that there was an overwhelming need for a school in the village outside the children's home. Project Orphans took a leap of faith and decided to support a project to open a school for children outside the children's home in Uganda. This opportunity opened our eyes to the endless amounts of children, across the country, dreaming of receiving a quality education.

The project along with Sophia's Story opened our hearts and deepened the desire to provide open doors of education to kids throughout Uganda. That's when our Education For Uganda program was birthed!
