Onward with Confidence

This year, we’ve heard many leaders, organizations, and businesses reflect on their journey through the pandemic and share their thoughts about the future. People all around the world are determining their next steps and how they will proceed in the days, months, and years to follow.  For Project Orphans, we have determined that the way we move forward is through confidence.

Since inception, we’ve been through so many moments that have brought extreme challenges.  Every child or person who Project Orphan’s assists comes to our organization because they need a helpline due to hardship, extreme poverty, illness, abuse, abandonment, or fear. We’ve faced many moments of uncertainty. At the same time, the demand on our support and programs is consistent and often stretches our capacity. These are and never have been comfortable times.

So how do we remain positive and move forward with confidence? It’s simple. We’ve witnessed miracles! We’ve seen lives transformed, people overcome extreme trauma, and children saved from the brink of death before our eyes. Project Orphans has a community of supporters who all come from different places and different seasons who have provided encouragement, funding, and prayers - during the most unexpected moments. That support has allowed us to fiercely serve the orphan, widow, and the vulnerable. And that’s so important, because when a child or victim reaches out to us, we are given the opportunity to show hope, healing, and support to someone at one of their most difficult times in their life.

Our days are hardly comfortable, and still we move forward with confidence. We take that responsibility seriously. And, with God leading the way, we know we can face whatever tomorrow brings.

We recently returned from Uganda and now more than ever our world needs us to be confident. People are searching for hope, healing, and truth. We don’t have to fight to share grace. This recent trip allowed us to see firsthand how important it is that we move forward in confidence, trust that miracles will continue to occur, and know that lives will be transformed through our organization. We encourage you to live the same, and move forward in the confidence that you will overcome and that the best is yet to come! So here we go — onward.
