In Uganda, mothers are dying at an alarming and increasing rate. According to UNICEF's research data, Uganda's Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) has consistently been one of the world's highest, with 440 deaths per 100,000 live births.
Having a baby should be a time of great joy and hope! When you support a women’s labor and delivery fees, you provide her with routine prenatal checkups, labor/delivery in our birthing center, and provide access to a dignified quality of care!
